January 1995
Studio Magazine, what used to be the other significant advertising & design magazine of Canada at the time, did an 8-page cover profile of Mir very early in his career, focusing on the studio's diversity and creativity and the beginnings of his digital creations (8 pages and cover).

Fall 1997
Zdorov, the hip and young Ukrainian lifestyle and culture magazine, now defunked, featured a cover profile of Mir. Both the cover image and the spread were done as self-portraits and play up the dichotomy of Mir's styles.

November 1994
Photo Life Magazine, Canada's leading photography monthly, assigns Mir a fascinating digital photo-illustration, then writes a behind the scenes how-did-he-do-that double page story. This was still in the earlier days of desktop digital imaging by photographers, and the full page 300 dpi image was created on a Centris 610 (something like 33mhz) and 24mb RAM, using a program that only some photographers had heard of, called "Photoshop 2.5." This is life before layers, folks...OUCH!
