Mir Lada, photographer and conceptual digital photo illustrator, combines traditional photography, digital imaging, and 3D computer illustration to create unique visual solutions for advertising, corporate, and editorial clients. His subject matter ranges from portraits, situations, fashion / beauty and kooky characters, to product, with a sprinkle of interiors. Mir's Toronto studio has been creating visuals for advertising, corporate, editorial, and entertainment clients since 1990, winning numerous awards and getting published in the top annuals. These include Communication Arts Photo Annuals for 3 years, Graphics Digital Photo Annual, American Illustration Annual, Gold at the National Magazine Awards, PDN-PX digital imaging, and Applied Arts Photography Awards.  

Working very proficiently in Photoshop since 1993, and in CGI software since 1996, Mir loves to teach the creative, technical, and business aspects of the visual communications industry. He is a proponent in co-op and internship education, having helped over 50 young professionals launch their careers through the studio since 1998.  

His specialty is conceptually and technically challenging projects - but at the same time loves a "straight" shoot, with little post, using simple components that make a memorable, effective, timeless shot.
